Who doesn’t like to get a little extra cash for the holidays? WMAL in Washington DC did just that through a “Listen, Play, Win” contest with entries by texting. First, post cards were sent out to a direct mailing list to create hype and give details. Then banner ads, email blasts, and a web presence were implemented.
