Project Description

Color Concert – 2015 and 2016
Presented by Mix 106.3 – Saginaw, MI

You have heard of the “happiest 5k on earth…” but who needs all the running? In 2015 Mix 106.3 in Saginaw, MI needed an idea of how to have a fun concert and create an interesting draw. Thus the Color Concert was born! Color and white t-shirts were ordered and the planning began. The logo was a joint creation between myself and another freelance artist.

For this project, my task was to create all visual aspects for the upcoming event. This included print pieces such as the concert poster, double-sided handbills, and backstage lanyards. The Meet & Greet lanyards made great pieces for Autographs from each of the acts! This project could not last alone in print. Web pieces for websites, social medias, and emails were created to coordinate the whole campaign.

Every aspect was meant to be attractive and draw attention! It was a wild concert and the color was only half of it!

Concert Promotion

You have heard of color runs…this is a vibrant and fun concert without all of the running. This was a summer concert that allowed concert-goers to purchase white logoed t-shirts, bags of color, and memorabilia. After every artist set, there would be a count down for a color blast. This encouraged people to purchase more color throughout the event.

Thank you for viewing!
