Groundwork

The first part of the task was to understand what and how EAGALA works. Who are the professionals and the horses?  Via in-person meetings, emails, and group messages we were able to nail down a design. This was a focus on not only horses but also, the humans involved.

Once a design was nailed down, colors became the next task. Greens were really all there was to go on. Some were very earthy and others with more blue hues. This was a process that brought my clients closer.
The final color was very fitting per the Pantone website:

Pantone’s Color of the year for 2017 was GREENERY PANTONE 15-0343.

A refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is symbolic of new beginnings.
Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore, and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.

Greenery is nature’s neutral. The more submerged people are in modern life, the greater their innate craving to immerse themselves in the physical beauty and inherent unity of the natural world. This shift is reflected by the proliferation of all things expressive of Greenery in daily lives through urban planning, architecture, lifestyle, and design choices globally. A constant on the periphery, Greenery is now being pulled to the forefront – it is an omnipresent hue around the world.

A life-affirming shade, Greenery is also emblematic of the pursuit of personal passions and vitality.

Sterling, MI

In 2017, the owners of Groundwork found themselves needing a logo and business branding. This organization utilizes the practices of EAGALA (a team of a health professional, equine specialist, and horses) to help patients work through personal growth and development. This is a team and they work to help veterans, children, individuals, and families. This team also works with other businesses for team-building purposes.
